I am tired of sharing...

I am sick and tired of sharing a computer with two teenagers. I know we are all supposed to play nice and take turns but sometimes that just stinks.

It is currently 10 p.m. and I am sitting down at the computer for the first time today. I have worked, come home and cooked dinner, cleaned up the kitchen , drove to Kroger and purchased cookie dough, baked the cookies, washed a load and folded a load of laundry and I want my COMPUTER TIME. Not to mention that I am not just surfing the net for the latest wrinkle cream but I doing my second job as a blogger. Lucky for me their constant computer stalking is helping me out with the blogging part.

The kids have been home since 2:30 and have had 7.5 hours to download music and browse Facebook but the minute I sit down at the computer one of them will walk up behind me and ask for the computer back "just for a minute". Then comes the sighing and spinning in the extra office chair. The spinning alone is enough to make me lick my emergency Xanax.

Oh, there is always a noble reason why they need it. They must email a teacher or print a paper due tomorrow. Why they don't print the paper when they write it is beyond me!

I think the next time one of them does this to me I will just turn around and scream MINE. It works for my friend Jennifer's daughter Avery every time. Of course she is two and much tougher than me but it's worth a shot.

If the screaming "MINE" works, let me know. I might try it, lol.
